All this is spam - but they are building a business with it...

It appears that BIT is not willing to remove my name from their e-mail spam list.  It is frustrating and, quite frankly, I have the feeling that this aggressive marketing has lured many innocent researchers into signing up for one of these conferences.  A quick web search seems to confirm this suspicion:
